zDMC-16 Upgrade Card

This product upgrades your existing DMC-16 with our improved daughterboard, or “brain”.

The new brain is a Z-Turn 7Z020. It is faster and more reliable and will allow us to improve DMC functionality.
For instance, the zDMC-16 supports the new “aim point” functionality in Dragonframe 5, and also motor coupling (driving two motors together).

In our user guide and elsewhere, we will refer to your upgraded DMC-16 as a “zDMC-16”.

Firmware for upgraded devices will start with “zDMC”.

Here are the instructions for replacing the DE0-Nano daughterboard in your DMC-16 with a new Z-Turn board:
