His lover Alma Mahler had ended their relationship and sent him off to fight in the First World War…The film is about that little period of time around 1914, when there was plenty of passion and drama in his life. The animation springs from his drawings, paintings, prints and plays, and my process is very intuitive.

“I Am Here” for Klinex by Effie Pappa

Effie Pappa’s TV ad “I Am Here,” for Klinex, introduces audiences to the company’s initiative to donate cleaning products to schools. This popular brand of cleaning products in Greece began the campaign during the country’s deep financial crisis, when research showed that a large number of kids were not using the schools’ toilets, as they felt they were not sufficiently clean.
