More high throttle hijinx from the warped wizardry of Max Winston. Amazing lighting as Uncle Grandpa goes to Wonderland and things get weird even for him. Winston’s sweetly sick puppets are almost more engaging than real people, making them all the more disturbing. For more gorgeously rude ruminations on the meaning of existence, or lack thereof, watch his legendary crash course classic of expertly and experimentally animated crudeness, “I live in the Woods!”, which almost became a series of its own. Watch here for the series animation test and also to catch an in-depth Dragonframe interview with Winston on his approach to puppet construction and story.
