A tribute and testament to 25 years worth of animation from Nickelodeon, this piece is engaging, playful and smart. The short is animated and narrated by the talented Tucker Barrie, a self-proclaimed “Nickelodeon Kid”. Not only does Barrie know how to animate like a boss, but apparently also is proficient with scissors and Xacto knives. He creates detailed, yet pleasingly minimal, morphing environments for the iconic characters to explore. Undeterred by overly saturated nature of the channel’s content, the intuition to keep the majority of the piece white with dashes of color adds a level of precious intimacy.
