Another completely charming piece from animation-world darling, Kirsten Lepore. Her quirky, sweet and very pure films always have such beautiful pacing and plenty of quietness for the viewer to fill in with spirit. A ‘celebration party’ of the medium, this piece tips its hat to many other animation superstars, including Mikey Please. Perhaps this is a call to other aspiring artists, who’ve been ‘bit by the bug’, to persist on the rocky path of creation.
