His constant struggle with love, attachment, and often detachment all bring him to a somewhat dismal state of being. Despite the troubling turn of events, Nina Gantz sprinkles in some dark humor, and endearing characters persuading us to develop a sympathetic relationship with the sweet, yet misunderstood Edmond.
