Nikon D90 setup instructions for stop motion animation or time-lapse photography with Dragonframe

Live View

The Nikon D90 provides a live view via its USB connection. The live view size is 640 x 426.

Setup Instructions

1. Power your camera by AC power if possible.
   • If you do use a battery, make sure it is fully charged.
   • If you use AC power, remove the battery.
2. Close any other applications that might connect to your camera.
   • For Mac OS X, Open iPhoto, go to its Preferences and select Connection camera opens: No application
3. Set the Mode Dial to Manual (M).
4. Set Auto Image Rotation to Off.
5. Set Lens to Manual Focus and disable Image Stabilization.
