Nikon D100 setup instructions for stop motion animation or time-lapse photography with Dragonframe

Live View

The Nikon D100 does not provide live-view. You have two options for using this camera with Dragon:

1. Use a separate video camera or USB camera to provide live video.
2. Work without live video, capturing 'preview' frames instead. (See User Guide in Help Menu).

Camera Settings

Dragonframe controls the Nikon D100 ISO, shutter speed, aperture (with digital lens), image quality and size.

Setup Instructions

1. Power your camera by AC power if possible.
   • If you do use a battery, make sure it is fully charged.
   • If you use AC power, remove the battery.
2. Close any other applications that might connect to your camera.
   • For Mac OS X, Open iPhoto, go to its Preferences and select Connection camera opens: No application
3. Set the Mode Dial to Manual (M).
4. Set Auto Image Rotation to Off.
5. Set Lens to Manual Focus and disable Image Stabilization.
